During the IFFA exhibition, CFS launches a RobotLoader that enables food producers to reduce their operational cost and improve the food safety via a hygienic packaging process. The CFS RobotLoader will optimise the output of food processing and packaging in the most cost-effective way and is at the heart of engineering innovation at CFS.
| | | | | | | | | | | Fixed weight for improved yield & minimum give-away The CFS RobotLoader can automatically load fresh meat and poultry, further processed meat, cheese and sliced products into preformed trays or in-line thermoformed packs. The system stands out by its hygienic design, reliability, working range and high cycle speed. In addition to the loading functionality, a weigh grading functionality can optionally be added to make sure fixed weight packs out of random weight pieces, improving dramatically yield and minimizing give-away of meat & poultry.
Cooperation with Sigpack Systems The CFS RobotLoader and the related full application solutions are jointly developed by CFS and Sigpack Systems. By combining the high speed robot technology of Sigpack Systems with CFS’s vast experience in creating solutions for the preparation, marination, further processing and packaging of meat, poulty & seafood products, a unique solution for the protein market is offered.
Lifecycle Performance philosophy The development of the CFS RobotLoader is a perfect example of CFS putting its lifecycle performance philosophy into practice. CEO John-Ole Hansen: “We developed a new way of thinking about the future performance of processing & packaging equipment, packaging materials and software solutions in relation to our customers’ operational costs. Lifecycle performance is our management philosophy, our driving force to offer customers the best there is.’ Partnership with the customer is a vital aspect of the CFS approach. Solutions focus on customers’ individual needs. This results in an ‘individualised’ machine, production line or packaging material. Hansen adds, ‘Once this is put into production, we continue to work intensively to control the variables that influence performance. This way the lifetime of the machine is extended.”

| | | | | | | | | | | CFS Lifecycle Performance CFS specialises in performance focused solutions for the food industry, from a single machine or packaging material to a complete production line for the preparation, marination, processing, slicing and packaging of primarily meat, poultry, fish, seafood and cheese based products. CFS offers Lifecycle Performance, supporting the performance of food processors here and now and in the longer term. Operational challenges such as variety and flexibility, cost per kg / pack, food safety and environment, are the basis of CFS' product and packaging innovation for improving output and reducing operating cost of food processors.
