How our Application procedure works


Should you have any interest in an open position in CFS or you would like to send a spontaneous application, please consult our various job offers in the various regions and apply by clicking on “apply here”.

If you have applied directly to an existing position in CFS, your application will reach directly the HR manager in charge of the relevant site/region. He/she will be your contact person to treat this application.

If you have applied spontaneously, your application will reach directly our Central HR department. The central recruiting team will be your contact to treat this application in co-ordination with the site and/or regional HR managers.

For both cases, as soon as you have sent your application, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that your application is well registered and that further contact will be made with you.

Pre-selection of applications and preliminary contact with candidates

Once your application has been received, a pre-selection will be made based on CFS's current employment needs and your profile description in your résumé.

If we select your application for further treatment, we will either give you a phone call or send you an email to obtain more information about your CV. We will than eventually fix a first interview with the HR Manager in charge and possibly also with the CFS manager for which the recruitment is being handled. Your technical experience, relevance for the function and general attitude matching with our culture will be evaluated.

Hiring decision process

Once all candidates have been screened, a short-list of 2 or 3 candidates will be made and eventually a second round of interviews will be organised.

The selected candidate will receive a written proposal from our local HR Manager. Contact will be then taken for finalization of the agreement.

Welcome and introduction programme

In line with our Management Beliefs, we consider the welcome and first induction phase as primordial for a smooth and efficient integration of our new colleagues within CFS.

Our aim is to get the employee familiar with CFS’ culture and business rapidly.
